What a fun and informative night! 14 wines in total from Australia, NZ, USA and France, some pate through the tasting journey and supper at the end. I was with a lively group which made the evening very entertaining. Caution: best not to drive home from this event!
What I love about these evenings is the sharing of knowledge in a non-pretentious way, so that everyone feels at ease and can explore the wines by trusting their own senses. It’s fun, informative and the food is delicious. However you must trust the host’s advice not to imbibe the entire contents of your 12 glasses of wine, unless you are a well seasoned taster.
